Designed as a pivotal modular component, our Cargo Hook allows your drone to suspend and precisely release equipment, offering enhanced versatility for specialized operations.
Innovative Release & Stabilization
  • Fail-Safe Latching Mechanism: The OBU-0731 features a uniquely engineered latch. As the servo moves out of its path, the weight of the payload itself pulls the latch open, ensuring the item drops cleanly without fail. Once released, the latch automatically balances and resets itself back into position, ready for the next operation. Its design eliminates snag points, preventing any unintended hold-ups.
  • Horizontal Stability System: The top of the hook incorporates two precisely positioned eye holes. This allows a string or line to be woven through completely, uniquely balancing the hook horizontally. This design prevents unwanted spinning or rotation of the payload during flight, maintaining stable delivery.
  • Unmatched Compatibility & Performance: The OBU-0731 Cargo Hook is driven by a powerful 50kg digital servo, capable of securely handling payloads up to 75 lbs.. Its wide operating voltage range of 7 to 14 volts ensures seamless integration across a variety of drone power systems.
  • Open-Source Ready Integration: Experience true plug-and-play adaptability. The Oregon Blue Unmanned Cargo Hook is designed for universal integration, requiring only a standard PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) output to control its servo. This signal is typically provided via an auxiliary (AUX) port on your flight controller, allowing the hook to be triggered by virtually any controller that can send a simple high/low signal to set the servo's position. This open design ensures flexibility and ease of use with your existing drone ecosystem.
